As a life-long resident of Ashland, I am committed to the community. I want Ashland to be the best town in the country in all aspects, from living, working and providing a safe environment for all residents.

Affordability
Affordability is critical for Ashland. The town needs to be affordable for families to continue to grow. With the cost of the basic necessitates such as food, housing, and education, it is important to ensure affordability for the residents. Programs that bring in businesses to the town will help to reduce the tax burden on the residents in turn making the town more affordable for the resident. This is an approach that I would employ to ensure the town remains affordable for all residents.
Sustainability
Sustainability focuses on maintaining the needs of the current generation without damaging the needs of the future generations. It typically refers to the environment and ensuring that it is viable for future generations. I would focus on "Going Green" in all town owned locations. I would then look to the private sector to come along side of the town to ensure that they also have a focus on "Going Green".
Family
Families are the cornerstone of Ashland. It is important to ensure that families are safe, have good education, and are enjoy what the town has to offer. We want Ashland to be family friendly, so my approach would be to ensure that families have activities that would provide an environment that consist of families. This may include future playgrounds and open space for families.
Housing
Housing is a basic need which is critical in the growth and development of Ashland. Affordable and safe housing provides a quality of life for all residents that will benefit Ashland. It is important to me that all residents are able to afford this basic necessity of life. In my approach I will review the towns housing while reviewing ways to provide affordable housing to all residents.
Education
Education is essential for Ashland. Every student deserves the best education to align them for their future. catapult them into their future successes. My approach will be to review where Ashland is in the national rankings and then improve on those ranking.
Health Care
Healthcare is essential for good well-being of Ashland. It provides physical, emotional, and mental stability for the residents. It is important that any community keeps their resident apprised of the health concerns locally as well as national. I will work to ensure that health concerns are addressed for the Ashland residents.
Business
Business in the community is important for the growth of Ashland. Bringing businesses to Ashland will provide support to the community in terms of growth and revenue. That revenue brought in by the business community will provide a means to drive down the cost of taxes, hence the cost of living, for the residents. My approach would be to encourage businesses in the community through business development.
